Il \u00e9tait consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme le dernier t\u00e9moin vivant du tragique \u00e9v\u00e9nement qui a eu lieu le 10 juin 1944 \u00e0 Oradour-sur-Glane, o\u00f9 643 personnes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9es par la division SS Das Reich.<\/p>\n<p>A 18 ans seulement au moment du massacre, Robert H\u00e9bras avait miraculeusement surv\u00e9cu en parvenant \u00e0 \u00e9chapper \u00e0 la grange incendi\u00e9e par les troupes nazies. Il a depuis consacr\u00e9 sa vie \u00e0 transmettre la m\u00e9moire des victimes, parmi lesquelles se trouvaient sa m\u00e8re et deux de ses s\u0153urs. Il a t\u00e9moign\u00e9 lors de proc\u00e8s contre des anciens membres de la division Das Reich en 1953 et 1983, et a \u00e9crit plusieurs livres sur le sujet, incluant \u00ab\u00a0Oradour-sur-Glane, le drame heure par heure\u00a0\u00bb publi\u00e9 en 1992 et \u00ab\u00a0Avant que ma voix ne s&rsquo;\u00e9teigne\u00a0\u00bb pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Robert H\u00e9bras \u00e9tait \u00e9galement connu pour ses nombreuses interventions dans les \u00e9coles,. Il organisait r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des visites guid\u00e9es des ruines du village pour sensibiliser les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures \u00e0 l&rsquo;importance de se rappeler cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement tragique de l&rsquo;histoire.<\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de Robert H\u00e9bras repr\u00e9sente la perte d&rsquo;un t\u00e9moin important de l&rsquo;histoire.
